About the Role
We are looking for a Cleaner to take care of our facilities and carry out cleaning duties.
The goal is to keep our building in a clean and orderly condition.
Responsibilities
- Responsible for all basic cleaning in and around complex.
- Duties include; mopping, sweeping, vacuuming, dusting, rubbish removal, replacing liners, and cleaning glass and windows.
- Cleans restrooms, including restocking dispensers, emptying trash, cleaning and sanitizing fixtures, cleaning mirrors, spot cleaning partition doors and walls, sweeping and mopping tile floors, and cleaning toilets and urinals.
- Carry out heavy cleansing tasks and special projects
- Maintain supply room
- Cooperate with the rest of the staff
- Assists other departments when needed to ensure optimum service to guests.
- Follow all health and safety regulations
Requirements and skills
- Previous cleaning experience a plus
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Highly responsible & reliable
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Ability to handle labour intensive facility (our chairs do not move)
- Effective Time Management
Work Hours and Benefits
This is a casual position under the Award BRAC* Award.
Opportunity for 12 to 16 hours per week + additional hours during peak and school holiday periods.
Cleaning shifts are allocated between 7am and 12pm daily with a 3-4 hour shifts.
This position does involve weekend work.
