You can hire your own cinema exclusively, or share a cinema with the general public.
How much does it cost?
If you have a group of 20+ people, Regent Cinemas offers a discounted groups price of $13.50 per person. Minimum of 70 people for a private session.
How do I pay?
Payment can be made directly to the cinema by cash, credit card or direct deposit.
Please Note: The group pricing excludes Saturdays. For private sessions, an opportunity for a 10 minute presentation before the film will be available.
Pre-Printed Tickets
All patrons must have a valid Special Guest Pass on the night of the booking. Tickets will be available for you to collect any time to then sell yourself. A registry will also be provided for you to keep track of sales. The usher will take the ticket stub to keep a total of guests. We can set up a table on the night to greet and thank your guests.
Additional Candy Bar Items
You can add Candy Bar items for your guests to enjoy during the film:
- Cofield Prosecco Piccolos – $8 each
- Any 2 of Small Popcorn/Small Drink/Choc Top – $4 each
Fundraising
Regent Cinemas charge a heavily discounted rate of $13.50 per person for groups. The traditional adult ticket to a movie is $21. Groups can sell their tickets for any price they like. Most groups sell their tickets at $20, making $7.50 per person towards their cause.

How does it work?
You can hire your own cinema exclusively, or share a cinema with the general public and simply pay the per person group booking rates. Ideal for your business presentations, product launch or private social event. Available for an in-season or recent release film, vintage classic, or even your own film! Films that are not in season are subject to availability and may incur additional costs.
How much does it cost?
Prices will vary depending on cinema, day and what film you are wanting to watch.
Private hire allows 2 – 2.5 hours in-cinema. Additional time can be negotiated, extra fees apply.
Shared Session
Ideal for your fundraiser, social occasion, school/holiday program or birthday party. Available for an in-season film. This option means you will only pay for the number of tickets purchased. We can work with an estimated guest number.
Available Days
Group bookings are offered every day of the week, subject to availability and location. The group booking rates do not apply on public holidays, film festivals or special events.
Session Times
Cinema programming is completed on a weekly basis and confirmation of your booking will need to be made one week prior to the date.
Bookings can be made in the morning, afternoon, evening, both early and late times are available.
For a shared session, the exact start time will be confirmed the Tuesday prior to your booking. The cinema manage or staff will call you to confirm. For exclusive hire, you can determine the start time as long as it fits with our existing programming. Out of season and classic films are subject to availability.
