Set in a near future where the human race has lost its ability to reproduce, England descends into chaos when the world's youngest citizen dies at 18.

Disillusioned bureaucrat Theo (Clive Owen) becomes an unlikely champion of Earth's survival when he is reluctantly forced to face his own demons and protect her from certain peril.

A strict warden is brought in to institute martial law. That order is challenged however, when a woman discovers she's pregnant, with what would be the first child in 27 years, inspiring a group of revolutionaries.
